This is by far the earliest project I started with working with a good friend MC Midrange who used to hang out in our huge flat at the top of Balfron Tower and started doing vocals to the tracks I was writing on a Tascam 244 Porta studio and a Yamaha SY77 workstation.

These four tracks are the result of some smoky evenings in the studio late into the night. These recordings are not edited on a computer and consist of many vocal parts all seamlessly glued together in the mix.

No these tracks are all performed live and recorded from the beginning to the end so if you made a mistake you would have to go all the way to the beginning.

Recording the hard way not like today where you can just drop the vocals in where ever you want. So MC Midrange is quite possibly the best freestyle rapper I have ever worked with, he could keep going until the music ran out and even then finish the song off with a vocal outro.
