'Logue' was a project I did with Jon Wilkinson and Conan Manchester in about 1995. Data Funk was a b-side track I wrote to be included on the first 12" by Logue and mastered at The Steamrooms in Polpar, East London. I wrote the track at home on my Ensoniq EPS sampler recorded on Cubase on an Atari 1080st. 2 meg of sampling time gave way to reduced the sampling time from 44.1khz to 22.5khz and even down as far as 11khz. I have been told big time artists get expensive emulators to get the same low-fi sound I got back in the early 90's
