Pigeon Pie records released 'Transition' a song I had worked on previously on the A-Side to my delight and it really caused a stir with the build-up and drop and got played out a lot. Shifted 6-7000 units. Mastered at The Steamrooms in Poplar, East London. I wrote the track at home on my Ensoniq EPS sampler recorded on Cubase on an Atari 1080st. 2 meg of sampling time gave way to reduce the sampling time from 44.1khz to 22.5khz and even down as far as 11khz. I have been told big-time artists get expensive emulators to get the same low-fi sound I got back in the early 90's
