This album of songs is the beginning of Xenophobia, a struggle to get decent enough equipment to write dance music. `i started off listening to acid house on pirate radio in the middle of the night and to this day find writing in the dead of night much more preferable to during the day with the phone ringing and the buses and trucks trundling past the window making the front of the house vibrate. The only drawback is every time I take off the head phones to monitor how the bass is sounding I think the whole neighbourhood gets a rude awakening lol. Most of the songs on here are written with sounds of a Yamaha SY77, vocals recorded on a Tascam porta studio and a couple of songs have samples from an Ensoniq EPS 16+ digital sampler. So this is me experimenting with how I wanted my new hardcore sound to sound like before I wrote the hardcore classics Rush in the House & The Wobbler.
